Having known the director of Marble Stage Theatre for many years, both as a friend and as an associate in the theatre, it's no surprise to me that his theatre company has been recognized for it's achievements. He puts 120% effort and dedication into everything he does. I'd like to be the first to congratulate him and the entire Marble Stage family on this accomplishment! Next Stop? BROADWAY!
The best community theater in the St. Louis area. They are compasionate, great shows.
Greg Matzker brings a lot to the stage both behind the scenes and in performance. His shows are very enjoyable.
For what was once such a little theatre group, Marble Stage has been clawing its way to the top with vigor and a determination to put on the best shows they can no matter what the obstacles. And they always succeed.
Really, if you want to support the arts in your community, Marble Stage Theatre is one of the best places you could possibly start.
The group puts out great theatre, but the guy that played Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense Amen was FANTASTIC!!!!!
Marble Stage is more than a theatre. It is a community. I have never seen a group of people who work so hard at what they do. When they say they are a community theatre for the community by the community they mean it. This group gets ZERO funding from outside organizations. Money for the company is raised through ticket sales, and fundraising. Sometimes consisting of literally going door to door asking for money.
However the quality of the shows are top notch. A show from them is never a disappointment
